Double-Level Disconnect Lever Fuse Terminal Blocks: UKK 5-HESI
A typical fused circuit contains two lines: a fused line and a return. In the past, two terminal blocks were used to complete this application: a fuse terminal block and a standard feed through terminal block. The UKK 5-HESI double level fuse terminal block saves 50% of the required panel space of conventional fusing methods. This double level terminal block is fused on the top level and the lower level is a feed through for the return circuit. The fuse holder remains captive through the use of a hinged lever. Additionally, the fused upper level can be internally bridged for power distribution applications. The lower level can also be jumpered for common returns using an external jumper.
The UKK 5-HESI is available with blown fuse indication in both 5 x 20 mm and ¼" x 1 ¼" fuse styles. There are two LEDs in each blown fuse indicator allowing the fuse to be wired in either direction for DC circuits without loosing indication.
