MCR-f
The MCR-f converts pulses into an analog signal (4-20mA and others), eliminating the need to purchase expensive counter cards for the PLC or DCS. The pulses can come from a variety of sources including encoders, proximity sensors, dry contacts, or NAMUR switches.
Applications include monitoring turbine speed, conveyor belts, or rotational speed of shafts. Flow meters that provide either a contact or voltage pulse train can also be monitored.
In addition to cost savings realized by eliminating frequency input cards, MCR-f module provides three-way isolation and a display that can be used to indicate RPM, Hz, or mA. The range is easily programmed with the front push panels. A digital PNP transistor output provides either an alarm output or a controlling function.
Key Features:
- Accepts frequency (square or sine wave) from 0.1Hz to 120kHz
- Frequency range completely programmable (2Hz range minimum for specified accuracy)
- Digital PNP output with programmable delays (0 to 30 seconds)
- Analog Output (mA or Voltage)
- Wire Break Detection
- Power On Delay
- Division Factor from 0.1 to 9999
- Can be used as analog signal conditioner
- Class I, Div. 2 Approved
