FL-MC

The FL MC media converters are DIN rail mounted and are only 22.5mm wide making them ideal for control cabinet and industrial applications. They can be used independently or integrated with the modular Phoenix Contact Factory Line of Ethernet hubs and switches. When attached to a Phoenix Contact FL hub station, the power is supplied via the integrated backplane in the base of the housing. In a stand-alone configuration 24 V DC is supplied via pluggable screw terminals. The FL MC converters also feature onboard diagnostics to monitor the copper and fiber optic connections and cabling.

The FL MC converters are available in two versions. For distances up to 200 meters a quick-connect SMA technology is available with a 200/230m HCS fiber. This technology allows field installation of fiber optic cable in minutes. For longer distance applications there is a FL MC version that accepts standard glass fiber and the popular ST connectors.
